OP16, titled The Time of Battle, marks the first booster set following the initial block rotation in the One Piece TCG. The set was almost entirely revealed during the Championship 2025–2026 held in Tokyo in March 2026, catching many fans off guard with the sheer amount of information Bandai dropped. The Japanese release is scheduled for May 30, 2026
Now that a new era of the One Piece TCG has begun, the first set to kick things off features cards from the ST30 Luffy & Ace Starter Deck. This deck highlights the legendary brothers together on a single Leader card. We have already seen dual Leaders before, starting with Zoro & Sanji in ST13 and later Ace & Whitebeard in ST22. With the new rotation coming into effect, Luffy & Ace becomes the first dual Leader introduced in this new format. The Japanese release is scheduled for April 11, 2026
