The details for the two new premium folders for the One Piece TCG, released alongside the Season 2 live-action of One Piece, are finally out! It is expected to be released in July of 2026.
This release is split into two collections: the Straw Hat Collection and Crocodile’s Baroque Works. What makes these especially interesting is that the promotional cards included in the folders actually look very strong.
The Straw Hat Collection focuses entirely on red cards, which could finally give the red color the boost it has needed for a while. We haven’t seen much red in the meta lately, with yellow and black dominating the scene. However, new cards like the 5-cost hand generator Nami and the 7 cost blocker Luffy might be exactly what red decks need to make a comeback.
Meanwhile, the Baroque Works folder is centered around the Crocodile leader from OP-14. Players are already brewing different strategies around the new cards. Combos that involve resting characters and drawing cards could be a game changer and might significantly increase the power of the OP-14 Crocodile leader.
